Raízes is a jewelry collection born from a collaboration between L/DANA and Paula Canavarro. The project celebrates the quiet, invisible forces that sustain us, and my goal was to translate this essence into a visual language that feels both intimate and sophisticated.
I was behind the lens and the edit for this journey, capturing interviews with Paula and Anthony Garcia. Instead of a traditional edit, I focused on a natural pacing, letting their words breathe so the dialogue felt like a genuine conversation. These moments became the narrative soul for everything from short, poetic teasers to films that dive deeper into the collection’s heart.
To bring the theme to life, I directed and filmed the jewelry in macro, using natural elements and textures to create an earthy, grounded atmosphere. I also filmed the fashion shoot to bring movement and a human scale to the pieces. Except for the lighting on the fashion set, I handled the cinematography and the color grading of the entire project—using a palette of warm, earthy tones to bridge the technical detail of the macro shots with the energy of the model.
