Gemas Preciosas is a series of short films that turns technical mineralogy data into captivating social-first content. Using a vertical format, the goal was to bring the viewer as close to the stones as possible, making the complex world of mineralogy feel intimate and accessible.

Working from provided scripts, I handled the entire visual execution, from directing and lighting to the final color grade. I used macro cinematography to explore the “inner world” of each gem, capturing textures and light reflections invisible to the naked eye.

To bring the educational side to life, I created motion graphics that illustrate the stones' origins and chemistry, weaving them naturally into the edit.

It was a rewarding process of balancing science with beauty, ensuring the audience is mesmerized by their natural elegance.
