Hadal is a jewelry collection by L/DANA that dives into the deep ocean—capturing its mystery, raw beauty, and that silent sense of awe. My goal with this film was to make the viewer feel like they were discovering hidden treasures, using a visual pace that reveals the collection slowly and atmospherically.

As the editor and colorist, I wanted to turn the screen into a sensory experience. I played with rhythmic editing to sync the hypnotic movement of ink clouds with the soundtrack, and used deep, “inky” blacks in the grading to let the opals and emeralds truly shine, as if they were glowing in the dark.

This piece lived as both a social media campaign and a special closing for a brand documentary. To keep the momentum going, I also crafted a series of shorter teasers, ensuring that same mysterious and elegant vibe translated perfectly across every screen.
